I used to think you had to be discovered by some hot shot producer on the streets of Paris in order to become a reporter. Nothing could be farther from the truth.
Reporting is not rocket science. It’s actually fairly easy. And I’m going to prove it. I’m going to teach you everything you need to know, from what equipment you’ll need to different editing techniques to common mistakes. By the time I’m finished you’ll have the tools you need to realistically pursue a career in this field.
One thing to keep in mind is people have their own way of doing things. I got more resistance from my zero tolerance policy on tripods (or my insistence of ALWAYS using one), then I did about anything else in the first episode of TKR… the war episode. I stand by my position on tripods, but the point is, take what I say as a guide, not Gospel.
